Essa semana saiu versão 1.12 do PPSSPP, emulador de PSP como o nome se auto-denuncia.
Parece mais focado no suporte a Android 12, mas abaixo o changelog.

Me lembrando que quando o emulador PPSSPP lança uma versão com muitas mudanças, geralmente nos dias seguintes aparecia versões para corrigir bugs. Fui ver o site, e sem maiores surpresas:
- 1.12.1, 1.12.2 released on October 9, 10 fix a few bugs including a gamepad binding bug.

O Yuzu vaza RAM demais no Metroid Droid. Cheguei a 22GB de memória usados, 16GB físicos + 6 de swap.

Consegui finalizar meu primeiro jogo do Switch no Yuzu. Uma pena que o emulador ainda esteja bem cru em termos de estabilidade.

Tô jogando os Prime no Dolphin, não sabia que até uns anos atrás não rodava direito, daí fui me informar dos Ubershaders lá. Muito bacana o que fizeram pra resolver stutter, achei trabalho de corno escrever um pipeline de shader pra emulador. Que bom que a comunidade é investida. Os jogos tão rodando maravilhosamente aqui e usei o Primehack pra deixar wide e ajustar fov.

Hoje o PPSSPP lançou nova versão para corrigir bugs, 1.12.3.

Parece que semana passada saiu v124 do ares, emulador multi-system. Acho que mais uma ou duas versões e poderei usá-lo como padrão quando for jogar algo da Sega. Gosto mais dele do que do BizHawk. Sendo que tenho pavor do famoso RetroArch.

ares v124 brings the compatibility rating for the Famicom and Nintendo 64 cores
up to three stars. This means that at least 80% of the game library is working.

There have been notable improvements to Game Boy, Mega Drive, Sega Mega CD,
Sega 32X and Nintendo 64 emulation, and the PC-Engine multi-tap is now supported.

Finally, the dynamic recompiler now generates slightly more efficient code. You
may notice a slight performance boost in Nintendo 64, Sega 32X and Sony
PlayStation.

Dando uma olhada no site do emulador melonDS e nenhuma versão nova. Mas dias atrás disseram que estão trabalhando para que a próxima versão não exija a presença de "external BIOS and firmware files".

Particularmente, não vejo maiores problemas em ter que procurar bios/firmware para um emulador.

Foi lançado xemu 0.6.2, emulador de Xbox.
Me lembro de ter testado o emulador de Xbox 360, mas acho que não do original.
